One of the highest resorts in Europe at 2100m and with a glacier at 3456m altitude, Tignes can guarantee excellent snow conditions and has one of the longest seasons with almost year-round skiing. The main season runs from November until May, but the glacier is open in summer and Autumn as well.

The off piste terrain is among the best in the Alps and there’s no shortage of challenging pistes, including the fabulous Sache black run. At resort level there are multiple villages- Val Claret is the highest at the foot of the Grande Motte, Lavachet and Le Lac are in the heart of the resort, while Tignes 1800 and Les Brevières are prettier hamlets in the forest for those that prefer a more authentic vibe.
